Sponsor licence control

Are the Authorising Officer and Level 1 users current, eligible and actively overseeing the licence?

The sponsor should have accountable people with functioning SMS access and clear day-to-day ownership.

A licence can be valid and still be exposed.

Sponsor duties continue throughout the life of the licence. The Home Office can examine files, reporting history, payroll, actual duties and the accounts given by managers and sponsored workers.

The current guidance permits sanctions including reduced Certificate of Sponsorship allocation, downgrading, suspension and revocation where duties are not met.
