The analysis
An endorsement review tests whether the decision was wrong on the application made. It should identify the criterion, evidence and alleged error precisely. A missing proposition or materially new evidence may point toward a fresh application instead.
Endorsement and endorsement review are not themselves immigration permission. Any current visa expiry, pending application or travel constraint requires separate analysis while the endorsement response is considered.
Review, a rebuilt endorsement application, Skilled Worker sponsorship or another route can produce different timing, cost and flexibility. The procedural response should serve the applicant’s UK plan rather than merely contest the refusal.

Current published guidance states that the request must be made within 28 calendar days of the Home Office refusal email. The date and current guidance should be checked immediately.
The review process is directed to error in the decision on the application made. Where materially new evidence is required, a fresh application may be the more appropriate process.
